August 1 – Chelu's Mexican + Kurdish Food Pop-Up

August 2 – Ko Kai Khao Mun Kai + The Clovery Desserts

Join us for a full day of incredible food featuring Ko Kai's authentic Thai chicken rice alongside handcrafted desserts from The Clovery. Enjoy authentic Thai flavors while sipping locally roasted coffee or premium matcha in our dog-friendly café. August 2 – Dog Days of Summer

Bring your pup for one of our biggest community events of the summer. Chance's Coffee is partnering with Kahoots and Cardiff-by-the-Sea Dog Days of Summer for an afternoon featuring dog adoptions, local vendors, Meet fellow dog lovers while enjoying specialty coffee, seasonal drinks, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

August 8 – Passion For Pitties Dog Adoption + Fill Me In

Spend your Saturday playing with pitbulls from Passion for PItties. They are looking for new homes so come hangout with sounds from Fill Me In. Fill Me In will be providing a flower station for create your own bouquet. Enjoy the free bouquet with a chance's drink. You can also join North Park Walk club as they walk around the neighborhood before ending at chance's for a drink.

August 9 – Kaisu Bakehouse + Crafts Mingle

Spend your Saturday enjoying gourmet rice crispies from Kaisu Bakehouse while meeting other creatives during our Crafts Mingle. Bring a knitting project, sketchbook, crochet, or any creative hobby and enjoy a relaxing afternoon fueled by coffee, espresso, and matcha.

August 13 – Matcha & Mingle

Looking to meet new people in San Diego? Matcha & Mingle is a casual community gathering where matcha enthusiasts, and creatives can connect over handcrafted drinks. Saie's Street Food will be popping up In the morning to provide Southeast Asian street food.

August 15 – Vietnamese Food Pop-Up + Live DJs

Join us for a full day of Vietnamese flavors featuring MỘT Bánh Mì alongside fresh cinnamon rolls from Seker & Spice. Throughout the afternoon, local DJs create the perfect soundtrack while guests enjoy specialty coffee and espresso drinks in one of North Park's favorite community gathering spaces.

August 16 – Brown Sugar Bad Boy Cookies

Fresh baked cookies meet handcrafted coffee. Brown Sugar Bad Boy brings oversized cookies that pair perfectly with espresso, cold brew, and our seasonal drink menu.

August 21 – Big Dawg Burgers

Breakfast burgers and specialty coffee? Yes, please. Big Dawg Burgers joins us for a one-day brunch collaboration serving fresh breakfast burgers alongside our espresso drinks, matcha, and signature coffee menu.

August 22 – Cuban Food + Korean Cream Puffs

Hell Yeah Helena! serves authentic Cuban-inspired dishes while Monchourie brings their famous Korean cream puffs. It's a perfect opportunity to sample two unique cuisines while supporting local San Diego small businesses.

August 23 – Matcha + Pilates

Start your morning with a Pilates class followed by handcrafted ceremonial-grade matcha from chance's, fresh pastries from Soft Butter Bakes, and good music from auddre. Whether you're looking for wellness events, fitness meetups, or healthy weekend activities in San Diego, this event combines movement, community, and great coffee.

August 28 – Filipino Food Pop-Up

San Diego Sisig joins Chance's Coffee with authentic Filipino comfort food on Friday served alongside our full coffee and espresso menu. Discover bold flavors while supporting local food entrepreneurs in North Park.

August 29 – Pizza & Japanese Cheesecake

Spend your Saturday enjoying authentic Neapolitan pizza from Goodboy Pizza alongside Japanese cheesecakes from BH's Japanese Cheesecake & Bakery. This family-friendly community event pairs delicious food with fresh coffee and relaxed café vibes.

August 30 – Japanese Food + Sourdough + Live DJ

Close out August with one of our biggest food pop-ups featuring Japanese comfort food from Udon Nofuzou, artisan sourdough and desserts from Mouy's, and live music by DJ Marrs. Bring friends, grab coffee, and enjoy an afternoon celebrating San Diego's local food community.

on sunday, july 5, anybody run club will be kicking off their 2 mile run at 8am and finishing off with some popsciles at chance's. burekas box food truck will be parked out front serving middle eastern pastries from 9am-1pm. 

on saturday, july 11, kaisu bakehouse is back with their asian flavored rice krispies treats. a new food vendor, sais street food will be popping up serving southeast asian food from 10am to sell out.

on sunday, july 12, soft butter bakes will be back selling their cinnamon rolls and pastires from 10am to sellout. pugs corner tcg will have a table in our patio for those interested In trading/buying/selling pokemon cards. dj jedzant will be providing the sounds for the day.

we are hosting a special event: puppies + pilates from fido foster community and pilates led by @shapesbychar from 6-745pm on friday, july 17.

mot banh mi is back with mind selecta with the jams on saturday, july 18 from 10am to sellout.

a new food vendor, bakedsd will be serving up sushi bakes and monchourie Is back selling korean cream puffs from 10am to sellout on sunday, july 19.

on saturday, july 25, hi bites hawaiian food will be posting up In the patio along with wiw bakery selling theri salt bread and assorted pastires from 10am to sellout.

sunday, july 26, big dawg burgers is back. our new food vendor, rasa will be setting up a table selling southeast asian desserts. The music from 10am to when vendors sellout will be provided by our in house barista/dj aud dre to cap off pride month!

dulce vida rescue kicks us off with a dog adoption event on saturday, june 6 from 11am-2pm. happy girl club paws & portraits after hours event from 4:30-6:30pm. 

on Sunday, June 7, chillish radio is providing the vibes. Soft butter bakes will be serving cinnamon rolls from 11am-2pm. Anybody run club will be running 2 miles and finishing at chance's.

sunday, may 3 is the beginning of our brunch and beats series for AAPI month. we have pamilya sessions providing the beats and kujo eats serving up filipino hawaiian comfort food from 11am-2pm.

our second installment for AAPI month, we have sdsu cafe club gathering at chance's coffee on thursday, may 7 where you can participate in a photobooth strip decorating and merch/gift card raffles. 

on saturday, may 9, we have kaphe muna taking over chance's coffee bar where we will be serving up 2 collab drinks from 8am-3pm. ming oun's will be serving southeast asian comfort food and nts bracelets will be selling cusom bracelets from 10am to sellout.
